We loved our one week stay. One, we wanted traditional not modern for our kids to have as a true Mexican experience along with the cold showers and non luxury appliances; all the amenities offer was all we needed. Two, this was great for our group of 14. We spent majority of our time in the huge kitchen and in the garden having most of our family conversations. Third, it was truly an eight minute walk to downtown and Al the nice surroundings. We were able to walk to many different site seeings in downtown every morning and nights. And finally the host communication was great!!!

The spacious property has 5 bedrooms, 4 with king beds, and 1 with 2 sets of bunks. Two of the king bedrooms are located in a separate building adjacent to the main house. One bedroom is upstairs, 1 down. Both have tables for suitcases and storage, neither have closets. The bathroom is in the main building, just steps away. The upstairs bedroom is up 8 rather steep stairs, and quite warm, but fans are provided. Of the 2 king bedrooms in the main building, both have closets and shelves. One is an on suite, the other is very close to the bathrooms. The bunk room does not have closets, but does have tables for suitcases. There are 2 common area rooms with a total of 3 daybeds which could also be used for sleeping. The kitchen lighting is quite dim at night. There are plenty of dishes and glasses, but limited flatware. There is a lovely patio area to sit in. The neighborhood is quiet, and easy walking distance to the old city center and many great restaurants. We felt very safe. The key to the front entrance is a bit tricky, but once you've mastered pulling the door towards you as you unlock it becomes easier.
