    The staff on site was always so helpful and bubbly. Special mention to the staff member “Lee” who went out of her way to assist in an issue I had. Would definitely come back when I’m back in Shanghai.

    We stayed at this hotel in Beijing and glad to have stayed here again in Shanghai. Friendly staff, great facilities and convenient location. Close to the river and even closer to the train station. Daily supply of bottled water, drinks and snacks, and even includes free laundry service. The fitness room isn’t really worth a visit but you can just go for a run or walk along the river. Costs a touch more than other places but totally worth it!

    Highly recommended hotel to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness of hotel is fine. Gym is good. Reasonable price for buffet breakfast. Free laundry washing for you. I like to Xiao Du!!!

    I checked in past midnight at Nostalgia S Hotel after a 5+ hour flight and more than an hour-long ride from the airport due to traffic. I was exhausted and just wanted to rest. To my disappointment, the room assigned to me had a very strong unpleasant odour and very dim lighting room. It was not comfortable or acceptable for a hotel stay. I immediately raised this issue to the front office. *** was very patient, listened carefully, and personally came up to my room to try to help. She confirmed the issue and was very apologetic. However, she informed me the hotel was fully booked and could not arrange another room that night. She provided a freshener spray, which unfortunately did very little to cover the strong odour. I had no choice but to endure the night in that room. As a paying guest, I found this first-night experience extremely disappointing and frustrating. I want to make it clear that my complaint is with the room condition, not the staff. ***s customer service was excellent - professional, sincere, and proactive in a situation she couldn't fully fix. She followed up and I was thankfully given a much better room the next day, which I appreciate. I hope the management will seriously look into the hygiene and maintenance of the rooms, as no guest should have to experience this. But please retain and recognise staff like *** - she is an asset to your hotel.
