Had a great stay! The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was peaceful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bhimtal!

I booked deluxe Room, it was big. I thought I was getting lake view but it was just nature's view. In the morning Sunrays hit directly on our bed and we could see a garden in front of us. It was peaceful and they even got us a candle light dinner arranged even after we reached very late around 10PM. The view from their cafè made our day. The staff was very supportive.

My trip turned out to be extremely unpleasant due to the poor service from Agoda and the condition of this property. After travelling for almost 7 hours, I was welcomed with an unclean, congested, and highly unhygienic washroom. The bedsheets and blankets were also dirty.
During the night, my room had to be changed three times, yet every room was in a similar unhygienic condition with almost no proper facilities. The bedsheets were changed more than 10 times, and even then I had to adjust for the night in extremely uncomfortable conditions.
Despite having a booking for two days, I was forced to leave the property the very next day due to the situation. Even after providing proof of the issues and inconvenience faced, the refund for the remaining one day was not returned. Instead, the bill for food was adjusted as “compensation,” which still caused me a loss of around ₹1000. However, the monetary loss is not the main concern.
The real issue is the mental harassment and discomfort that my wife and I had to suffer throughout the night until we managed to book another property. Although the owner responded somewhat politely, the manager’s behaviour was extremely rude and disrespectful, as if I was asking for a favour rather than basic hospitality.
Due to this experience, I am seriously considering filing a consumer complaint against both Agoda and the homestay for deficiency in service.
