Loved the location

The neighbors in the big glamping tent across would turn their inside lights on full blast with no curtain and it really ruined the dark vibe by the fire. It would be like the sun would turn on 15-20* before settling in. Maybe a softer light or the yellow light lamps inside instead of the dimmer as it was either bright mud or off. Wouldn’t want to pay $900 for a time in the clear tube to be blasted by the neighbors inconsiderate lack of blinds us.

I felt so relaxed. It is super clean and the owner is just an amazing human being.

Nothing it was exactly as stated and better

Sunken Escapes Cabin 8 was a fantastic nature getaway. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with beautiful lake views and a peaceful setting surrounded by forest. I especially enjoyed the outdoor space, the quiet atmosphere, and the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy nature. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and explore the surrounding area.

The only downside was the mosquitoes. There were a lot of them, especially during the evenings, so guests should come prepared with insect repellent and appropriate clothing if planning to spend time outdoors.

The rooms were very cute and cozy, and we liked the different options for things to do around the property. The heated washrooms were a nice touch as well! Everything was very clean and comfortable inside the buildings.

The deadbolt on our cabin was not properly aligned, and even though the magnetic lock said it was engaged, our door would not lock from the inside or out. We spent over half an hour trying to get the door to lock before we eventually had to give up and just go to sleep, feeling pretty uncomfortable that our cabin could not securely be locked while we slept. The cabin itself was comfortable and made temperature regulation easy. However, it did rain overnight and the rain hitting the roof was incredibly loud and kept waking us up throughout the night.
