Tawa Whare holiday accommodation

Wonderful layout, ample heating and linens (extra blankets, and towels soft, absorbent, and generously supplied). TV in lounge, but it didn't get much use- expansive sea views during the day, endless and amazing sunsets, and incredible views of the night sky (stars and milky way) at night -- along with a well-stocked fireplace --provided plenty of entertainment. Perfect location a short drive out of the main town, within walking distance of a couple of beaches, and neighbouring bush providing lovely birdsong and privacy. Quiet and friendly neighbours. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and spacious. This place was a splurge for us, but we were grateful to have made the call to exceed our usual budget, as it was a happy and memorable holiday for our family of 6 (including three teens and a young adult).

Beautiful style energy and location. Juls our host was a legend and made everything smooth .

The location was great. A bit more info on how to operate the oven (unbranded) would have been useful. The sofa bed in one downstairs room was very uncomfortable. So the rooms were upstairs a Queen and a single, plus another Queen and a single, and downstairs two queen rooms.

The Downstairs bathroom cold water tap was broken and hadn’t been replaced. Some spare Alum foil and plastic wrap packages would have been handy.
