this is the #1 place in dar es salaam if you can afford $15/night, which is not easy, a little expensive, but it was worth it cuz I found family here, oh, and AC, and sometimes fast internet and private bathroom helps too

I came deep in the night, and a very nice man met me and let me in. Next day I got a very poor breakfast but some may be OK with it. You can have two toasts with margarine and jam, 2 eggs and some small fruit cuts. Low quality tea and water with coffee powder. Wi-fi worked in the kitchen area only. My room was clean. Towel, a/c + fan, hot water. Don't expect anything to explore around. On 3-wheelers you can reach Woodcrafts market (12 mins), downtown (20-25 mins), DAR airport (35 mins). I didn't really care much, as I planned to sleep and drop bags only. So you decide. P. S. Very nice man, thank you for helping me with my heavy bag! Take care!
