Check in was delayed due to prior guests leaving a mess, but the host was very nice and explained the delay. That was not a problem for me. The location was great and the place was clean and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

There are minimal amenities like toilet paper, paper towels. Really just barely enough for what you need. There were no toiletries in the shower, only hand soap by the sink. No shampoo conditioner etc. One towel per person for the 4 night stay, but we brought an extra. Host indicated they would add creamer to the coffee stuff but that wasn't provided. Only a tiny 5 cup coffee maker, so if you want more than one cup you have to brew twice. There really should be a Keurig. There are no steak knives or any actual cutting knives provided, only butter knives. No ice maker or ice provided. I just don't feel that it was worth the $175/night that we paid.

Couldn’t control the temperature. I appreciate a good air conditioner in the summer but it rained and got cool, and we were freezing all night with it blowing and the control had a locked cover.

Everything. This place is in a good location and its very pretty. The host is excellent and communicated everything ahead of time! The bed is so comfortable it was difficult to want to leave it in the mornings. The shower is wonderful and the kitchen is spacious enough for anything you need to do on vacation.

Every problem I had was minor at worst and communicated well ahead of time. The door lock is finicky which made me anxious about messing it up. However, this is explained very well by the host and I had zero issues with it throughout my stay. The bathroom is kind of small and I'm a bigger guy. But you can see that in the pictures and its an apartment in Chicago, this is to be expected. Its on the third floor so there is a decent amount if stairs and the ceilings slope in a little bit in places. Its clearly visible in the pictures and its says 3 floor in the listing. It wasn't a problem for me, but its something to be aware of.
