Cool traditional house

Price but it was still fair for how great the stay was.

Really beautiful, authentic Japanese house with equipped kitchen and lovely design. All the facilities were available including washing machine. Excellent location walking distance from metro station as well as Korean food market. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

The only two things can be improved for even better experience: - upstairs room would benefit from black out curtains to block light during the night - we haven’t found a towel hanger for drying towels, just a small thing.

Kitchen was well equipped, shower was clean and had great heat and pressure, beds were clean and comfortable, and air conditioning was thankfully very effective. Location was in a quiet neighbourhood, an easy walk from the station with trains to Nara and other central attractions

The only struggle we had (as foreigners) was the lack of a couch or similar soft furnishings in the main living area. Being a more traditional home the expectation was to sit on the floor - this is more a difference in lifestyle than an actual shortcoming in the property. Having a potentially destructive toddler with us introduced some stress around potentially breaking/damaging something but again that was more on us than the property.
