Hopkins at The Homestead

Fantastic place ,

De deur van het huisje was niet op slot en de sleutels lagen op tafel, we moesten dus niet wachten op de host, wat heel handig was. We ontvingen een heel uitgebreid welkomstpakket met o.a. wijn, verse eitjes, confituur, scones,... De bedden zijn zeer comfortabel en alles is aanwezig in het huisje (zelfs een oplader voor onze telefoons). We mankeerden niks. Het is ook erg goed gelegen.

Sheila notified us in advance that the property would be open and the keys left on the kitchen table. Despite this, she still greeted us warmly on arrival. My parents had arrived that morning and were very jet-lagged. Sheila very generously provided a welcome pack that included bread, eggs, jams, milk and juice to name only a few of the things in the hamper. This was greatly appreciated as it gave us a chance to relax and not have to worry about doing an initial grocery shop. The cottage had EVERYTHING you could possible need. The beds were comfy and the kitchen well stocked. We are already planning a return visit in the future, hopefully in the summer, where we can enjoy the cottage's private garden.

Everything, from the lovely host Sheila to the very modern,extremely comfortable cottage. The facilities we're 2nd to none, and the location was perfect. Sheila's welcome pack was one of the best we've ever had, so generous and thoughtful. The farm freshly laid eggs are fantastic. Amazing family break,can't wait to re-book.
