Riverside Hotel

Immaculately clean with beautiful linen, and comfy bed. Good shower.

Lack of lift access, but understandable given property vintage. Truck noise early in the morning.

Great room and facilities

I didn’t have breakfast there, however, I had dinner and it was absolutely delicious 😋 5 of us ate there and everyone’s meal was great 👍

The guy working at the bar at the front where the beer garden is was very rude

Accommodation was easy to find. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was Clean and tidy.

I'm not sure if the sheets on the bed had been changed- the sheets were all crinkled and the top sheet hadn't been folded back or tucked in - it was like someone was distracted in the middle of making it, or it hadn't been changed and had just been pulled up. It's above a hotel, so it was noisy from music and street noise. I was tired and didn't have any problems falling asleep, but would be a problem for light sleepers. There wasn't information as to where to check in - this could have been advised. When I phoned the listed number to ask what time I needed to check in by, I got the bistro staff who told me to phone back and speak to the main bar - it didn't occur to them to transfer me until I asked them if they could transfer the call. I had also phoned a mobile and not left a message - they did phone back though.
