I had an entire apartment suite to myself with my car parked just next to it. The bed, bath, terrace, gardens with gazebo- all superceded my expectations.There were fresh flowers at my bedside, a personal Christmas Tree in the parlor of my suite, as well as crystal goblets for my self-provided drink after my evening out. The fantastic breakfast seemed right out of a fine dining magazine!!!! The historic home, seemed busting with relics!! Simply put, it was an enchanting stay. I wish I had had more time there- They even assisted me to have another solo guest of theirs’ to do a ride share with me as I wanted to make sure someone was looking for my return to the cottage
I was unable to have the historic presentation which, I understand was to be over a meal.

Quaint and centrally located - breakfast was a gourmet delight. Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating.
It took a while for hot water to arrive at the bathroom sink but the shower/tub was faster.

It is beautifully presented and like a living piece of history. It is immaculately clean and the hosts are very welcoming and happy to share the story and history of the house. Staying at Chesnut cottage ticked off so many must do things of our U.S southern road trip.
