Sandwerf ist ein außergewöhnlicher Ort. 45 Min südlich von Windhoek gelegen, eigentlich sich Sandwerf gut, um 1-2 Nächte vor der Abreise aus Namibia oder nach der Ankunft dort einen Stopp einzulegen. Die Zimmer sind in kleinen Häusern untergebracht, modern eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet und geräumig. Die großzügige Anlage ist wunderschön. Es gibt einen großen Pferdehof, und auch sonst ist man von Tieren umgeben. Gute Küche, nettes Personal.
Das Schwimmbad ist noch nicht adäquat nutzbar. Der Service im Restaurant ist sehr freundlich, aber etwas unerfahren.
