Close to Hiking & Town! Peaceful Sugar Mtn Condo

This condo exceeded our expectations on every level. This was our very first trip to Sugar Mountain, NC, and we honestly didn’t know exactly what to expect. After researching several options, we decided on 1 Mi to Ski Lifts Sugar Mountain Condo, as it offered everything we needed for a comfortable, week-long stay. Many other properties in the area were either significantly more expensive or didn’t quite match our expectations in terms of quality and amenities—this one checked all the boxes. The location turned out to be ideal. It was just a short drive to a wide variety of attractions, including the breathtaking Blue Ridge Parkway, Elk River Falls, and the Breaking Bone trails, among others. We also appreciated that the charming college city of Boone was only about 30 minutes away—close enough for easy day trips, but far enough to enjoy the quiet (and lower costs) of staying outside the city center. From the very beginning, the staff impressed us with their communication and hospitality. They were prompt, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which made the late-night check-in process a breeze and set the tone for the rest of our stay. The condo itself was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully furnished. We found it wonderfully quiet and incredibly comfortable, with everything we needed to truly relax after long days of exploring the mountains. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare our meals, and the living space was perfect for unwinding in the evenings. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The combination of location, comfort, and attentive service made this the perfect home base for our Sugar Mountain adventures. We look forward to staying here again for future visits—and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone planning a trip to this beautiful area.

The property is located at an excellent location. The view is worth it all. It had everything we needed as a family for the 5 days we stayed. Neighborhood is safe, clean, and peaceful. We were allowed for an early check in.

The master room needs a bigger tv, the pillow cases in the master bedroom had stains and more towels would have been great since we stayed 6 nights.

The walls are very thin and the neighbours next to us were very loud - they talked very late into the night, then they had a toddler that was up early in the morning and we could hear everything. It heavily impacted our stay
