Great location to explore the new forest and the off street parking was a bonus

We booked Marigold Cottage for a week as its location is perfect for the New Forest Show, popping over to IoW on the ferry and amazing walks. Once parked up on the private driveway, we didn't use our cars until leaving. The Cottage is spotlessly clean everywhere. We used the two double bedrooms. Fans were provided and very welcome! There was a lovely welcome gift of snacks, jam, milk. And the kitchen was stocked with things like oil, salt, pepper, cafetiere. There is a store directly opposite which pretty much has everything though. The house itself has been decorated in a modern, clean style. The space has been used very well. Its comfortable and relaxing. The garden area is perfect if you have a dog, completely enclosed and safe. The Cottage is close to The Snakecatcher, a really nice pub with amazing food. There are two other lovely pubs in close walking distance too, all lovely. We tried both Italian restaurants, Enzee which is by the train station is stand out good. The Absent Filly does great barista coffee. And the Britannia Thai restaurant across the road from the Cottage is fab too. We needed more than a week stay!

Nothing not to like. Our contact checked in via the booking app to check all was ok a couple of times. We will book Marigold Cottage again next time we are staying in the area.
