5 mins to Ari - Sutthisan

Home sweet home with laundromat and water dispenser next door . Freshly cooked Thai and Chinese food few steps away. 7-11 in almost every block in the area. Strong AC and very accommodating hosts.

Bed mattress a bit hard for my back .

It’s simple and minimalist

The heading was misleading. It’s 5 mins to Ari (prob > 5 mins) if you have a car/bike , but if you don’t it’s like 45 mins-hr’s walk and who has a car when they’re visiting Bangkok anyways? The nearest MRT was Sutthisan which was 30-45 mins walk so location wise, it’s not very convenient for the tourist. Luckily, I finally bit the bullet and used a motorbike taxi which wasn’t so bad. Also after a long walk it would have been nice to have some water ready like most places. There’s 7-11s nearby, but it still would have been nice. The pictures show a sink in the studio, but there wasn’t one in the one I stayed at. There were silverware and dishes provided however. Laundromat next door or coin machine in building, not unit. The unit faces the st on the 5th floor so the room can get a bit hot. Hosts were responsive.

Nice and clean and spacious, staff lovely downstairs and close to bus stop. I come to Bangkok a lot so I enjoyed staying in a new area, everything is local so I would imagine some tourists would not enjoy the location. I thought it was great though!
