This adorable stand-alone house was built in the 1850's. It's one of the first homes to be built in the Downtown/Government St area and boasts original hardwood floors throughout. Minutes from LSU campus, Downtown BR, Government St., interstate access and surrounding areas.
The Space:
This recently renovated home boasts modern upgrades with classic finishes. Unwind in the comfort of our thoughtfully designed and beautifully furnished Airbnb. The cozy two-bedroom layout ensures space for up to four guests, making it perfect for families, friends, or couples seeking a memorable retreat. Each room exudes charm, offering a harmonious blend of modern amenities and local flair. The bathrooms and kitchen are newly remodeled and stocked for all of your cooking needs. After spending a day downtown or at an LSU game, relax on the front porch or in the large back yard.
There is on-street parking only, but with plenty of spaces to park.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home during their stay.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is generally quiet. It's mix of old houses turned into law offices and residences. The river center is just a few blocks away and LSU is just a few minutes drive. Great central spot for visiting kids at campus, conventions, lsu games and more!
Getting Around:
It's a must to have a car to get around in Baton Rouge. Of course there is always the option of uber and Lyft.
Other Things to Note:
The bathroom is an ensuite bathroom, off of the master bedroom.
Interaction with Guests:
I'm a hands off kind of host but always available if you need me. I do my best to respond as soon as possible.
