Villa Sofia is a stylish 3-bedroom villa located in the peaceful Los Coloradas area of Playa Blanca. Featuring a private heated pool, contemporary open-plan living spaces, flexible bedroom layouts, and inviting outdoor areas, it's ideal for families, couples, and friends looking to enjoy a relaxing Lanzarote holiday close to Marina Rubicón and local beaches.
The Space:
Villa Sofia combines contemporary comfort with relaxed outdoor living, creating the perfect setting for family holidays and peaceful escapes in the Lanzarote sunshine.
Outside, the villa offers a private heated swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and a beautifully landscaped garden with artificial grass. A shaded terrace provides the ideal spot for al fresco dining, whether enjoying leisurely breakfasts or evening meals with family and friends.
Inside, the bright open-plan living and dining area is filled with natural light thanks to large French windows opening directly onto the terrace and pool area. The comfortable lounge features a large wall-mounted TV with international channels, while the modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a stress-free self-catering stay.
The villa comfortably accommodates up to six guests across three well-appointed bedrooms. On the ground floor, there is a flexible king-size or twin bedroom with direct access to the pool terrace, alongside a family shower room.
Upstairs, the master bedroom features a king-size bed and French windows opening onto a spacious terrace overlooking the pool and surrounding Lanzarote landscape. The third bedroom can also be configured as either a king-size or twin room and benefits from a private balcony overlooking the pool area. A modern family bathroom serves the upper floor.

The Neighborhood:
Villa Sofia is situated in the peaceful residential area of Los Coloradas, offering a relaxed setting whilst remaining within walking distance of Playa Blanca's most popular attractions.
The vibrant centre of Playa Blanca can be reached in around 10 minutes on foot, where you'll find beautiful beaches, a seafront promenade, and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops. Marina Rubicón, home to boutique shopping, waterfront dining, supermarkets, and the popular Wednesday and Saturday market, is also just a short drive away.
Getting Around:
Taxis are readily available, reliable, and affordable for getting around the resort. Lanzarote also has a well-connected and easy-to-use bus network, offering a convenient and budget-friendly way to explore the island.
If you’d like to explore more of the island, we can also arrange car hire through a trusted local company, with the option of airport collection or delivery directly to the villa.

A generous welcome pack will be waiting for you, including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, water, orange juice, beer, biscuits, and a bottle of wine or Cava, perfect after your journey.
Bed linen, towels, and pool towels are all provided for your stay. For stays of more than 12 nights, a weekly mid-stay housekeeping service is included. This is a light clean, along with fresh linen and towels, and takes place every 7 days (for example, on day 7 of a 2-week stay, and days 7 and 14 for longer stays). For longer stays, this continues every 7 days thereafter. For bookings of 12 nights or fewer, additional cleaning is not included, but can be arranged on request.
Air conditioning is available and operates on a pay-as-you-use basis at €0.75 per kWh. The meter accepts €1 and €2 coins and can be pre-loaded for your arrival during normal working hours if preferred.
Pool heating is included during the winter months. During the summer months (1st May to 30th September), solar heating is provided, with the option to add electric heating for an additional charge should you prefer a little extra warmth. The hot tub can also be added to your booking for a supplement, ideal for making your stay that little bit more special.
If you’re travelling with little ones, cots and high chairs can be arranged at €25 per week, per item, payable in cash on arrival directly to the local hire company.
A breakage cover fee of £10 per person is included in your booking. This replaces the need for a traditional security deposit and covers accidental damage up to £400, giving you added peace of mind throughout your stay.

The villa was spotless, very well equiped and so so quiet.
The service received from VillasNow was fantastic as usual.
The directions for arrival need to be corrected, unless we miss-read them?
They mention "on entering Playa Blanca, go through the small rounabout, turn left with the sea infront, then go 5 km's to the Burger King flags", however there are no flags at Burger King and the distance is 0.5 km's to that point, not 5 km's, from then on it all goes wrong re roundabout numbers etc. We may have miss-read them, but found them confusing. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

We stayed in this villa for a week. It’s exactly as shown in the photos. The pool was lovely and the amenities in the Villa were perfect. The directions provided and communication with the host were helpful and prompt. It was within walking distance of everything including shops, beaches and the harbour.

We enjoyed everything.
We love Playa Blanca and it was nice to see the other side of the resort.
The Villa is in a quiet area, very fresh, modern and comfortable. The instructions on how to use TV etc was very helpful too.
The staff are extremely helpful and always on hand if you need anything or need advice on the area, villa etc.
It would be nice if the pool was warmer.
People may want to know that it is quite far from the main resort if walking however there are local shops, cafe etc close by which we found as always hire a car and explore.
