Lonesome Dove is a three bedroom two bath home that sleeps 12 to 13 people. It has great porches that overlook Canyon Oaks. Perfect place to relax after a long day floating the Frio River. The house has a rustic vibe that takes you back in time when times were easier and makes for a great place to unwind. Another great aspect to this home is that you can bring your furry family members as this home is pet friendly for a fee.

Home was as described. Check-in was easy and location was great! Would definitely stay here again.

The stay was good. I only wished their were a few more amenities like towels and basics like sugar. The host tells you ahead of time most of what you should bring. Overall, the location was nice, quiet, and secluded. It was an easy drive to Garner State Park.

The Good- switches were labeled - great view!- fire pit- good size; enough beds for everyone - secluded - pet friendly The Bad- some safety concerns regarding handrails- downstairs bathroom tub was difficult to access for a pregnant woman - no towels- kitchen could have been better equipped; basic cooking essentials should have been provided: salt, pepper, oil, etc.- downstairs bed was hard as a rock
