My family’s experience at Lakefront Connelly was nothing short of a heavenly retreat. This beautifully designed and furnished home sits among mature trees with a gorgeous view of the lake. The house is impeccable and has everything a large group needs for a relaxing retreat. There is nothing these owners did not think of. The screened-in porch is one-of-a-kind, seating large groups for dinner. The dock is impeccable and covered, located in a private cove on the lake. This creates a comfortable place to spend the whole day. The basement is a dream for entertaining with a large movie area, two huge sectionals, ping pong/pool table, bar and walk out to the hot tub. The beds are all very comfortable and the many bedroom options allow for different family situations. There is a fire pit where we could make smores and enjoy the cool evenings. We plan to make this a yearly trip and hope to create many more memories here in the future. Thank you so much for allowing my family to enjoy your slice of heaven.

We had five adults and four children stay for a week over the Fourth of July. As a person with mobility issues, the three steps to the front door with only a grab bar installed on the post, was challenging for me. Thankfully, the main floor includes the master bedroom and bathroom, great room, kitchen and wonderful screened porch. The rest of my family enjoyed the theater room, the game room and other bedrooms. I do want to point out that there is a bunk over each of the queen or full beds.On arrival, we couldn't figure out the kitchen faucet but easy communication with the property manager let us know it was a motion activated faucet. No one enjoyed using it as it would turn off when you didn't want it to. We also experienced a fruit fly infestation. They were in every bathroom and kitchen. We remedied this by purchasing fruit fly traps at Walmart. After the initial hindrances, we were able to have a wonderful time in this beautifully decorated home. The layout provided many areas for our large group to enjoy. Our children were able to climb down the steep path to the pier and use the kayaks on the lake. In the description of this home, it is mentioned that the owner may be present in the guest house. I thought that I would be ok with that. What ended up happening during our one week stay was that two different family groups that were "friends" of the owners used the guest house. So there were additional people on the property.

We rent homes often in the Hickory/Lenoir area. This house is definitely one of the best!! Very new, comfortable rooms, fabulous screened porch. Likely will rent here again in the future.
