About this villa rental
Upon arriving at Casa das Bromélias, you are greeted with an impressive view over Funchal Bay and a lush tropical garden that surrounds the villa, in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.
The villa was built in 1996 in a residential development with a privileged view over Funchal Bay.
The property is very spacious with several interior and exterior spaces and corners for relaxing and spending time with family or friends.
The total interior area is approximately 500 m2 and the exterior areas total more than 700 m2.
The villa has three bedrooms with double beds and private bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, main living room, dining room, library, bar room and Finnish sauna.
Outside, you can enjoy a spacious swimming pool, a tropical garden and an outdoor dining area. You can also appreciate the expansive views over the city and the ocean, and watch the sunset.
It is equipped with air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, cooker, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, smart TV with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The villa is located in a quiet residential development and is conveniently situated in one of the amphitheatre areas of Funchal with the best views, approximately 10 minutes' drive to Funchal city centre and 15 minutes from the airport.
By car, there is easy access to main roads and you can travel to any part of the island. There are also bus stops nearby for trips to the city centre.

NOTES
A car is recommended for this location and there is a parking area on the property.
The pool can be heated on request for an extra charge (minimum 5 days). Pool heating requests must be made at least 5 days in advance and will be confirmed with the payment notice. On cold days, pool heating may not be sufficient to reach 24ºC and therefore we do not recommend pool heating between October and April.
We ask all guests to keep food well wrapped to avoid attracting insects due to the island's climate.
Cleaning is carried out before guest arrival and there is a weekly maintenance clean, which includes changing bed linen and towels.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties and behaviours that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not permitted, especially between 22:00 and 08:00 when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Guests must agree on the check-in time at least two days before arrival and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time slot may be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be asked to present an identification document upon arrival and to provide missing identification data to comply with legal requirements.
5. Any damage, incidents or cleaning failures must be reported as soon as they are detected so they can be verified and addressed promptly during the stay. Problems reported late merely for the purpose of obtaining a refund will not be considered.
6. Guests must inform about allergies, constraints or special needs before or shortly after booking so that compliance can be verified and appropriate measures taken.

This villa has an amazing view over the city valley and the ocean. Sunset is magnificient. We loved the experience. A Home in Madeira was an excelent host and very responsive.

Location and the views of Funchal are perfect.
Sadly this villa had too many issues which highlighted lack of maintenance, regular checks and investment. It was not as advertised on the website.
