If you don’t have a bathroom in your room, there’s a lot of steps to the bathroom.

Excellent location just across from the main gondola. Staff were accommodating but spoke very limited English so it’s good if you can get by with basic Japanese. Nice traditional room and the onsen was refreshing.
A bit more expensive than the other similar place we stayed in Nozawa, but this is probably balanced out by the location and on-site onsen

朝食は好みに合わせて和と洋が用意されてるが両方とも食べる事もでき、夕食も一品毎アレンジされた料理でとても美味しくご飯が進みお腹いっぱいになりました。　和洋室に4人で泊りましたがベッドは快適、畳で寝る敷布団は薄かったので要望したら、もう一枚づつ用意してくれて爆睡できました。　トイレは共有でしたが綺麗でウォシュレット付きなのと館内どこも暖かく快適に過ごせました。
乾燥室のドアを閉め忘れる方が見えるようで、ブーツ類が全く乾いていない日がありました。 貼り紙をするか、強制的に閉まる工夫をしてもらえると嬉しいです。
