The Mini Apartment on Richer

Overall, the place was suitable for us, despite being small and basic. We didn't have any significant complaints. We stayed here mainly because of the low price and its proximity to downtown Ottawa (about a 10-15 minute drive). From the photos and previous guest reviews, we knew the space would be compact, so we were prepared. Fortunately, my co-worker is also my sister, so we were comfortable sharing everything. The apartment came fully stocked with coffee (nice!), and there was a hot plate along with cooking utensils, although we did not use them. There is a Walmart and a grocery store close by, which was convenient. The apartment also had parking, although navigating in and out of the provided spot was a bit tricky. Nevertheless, we made it work.

Because of the apartment's size, there was no bathroom sink, so be prepared to brush your teeth in the kitchen! The apartment was also lacking in towels; there were only two provided for two guests, despite our request for more (we were denied). Additionally, there were no hooks available to hang anything up. We found the bathroom door latch to be tricky to operate.

The hosts were well responsive to our questions. The place was easy to find and the instructions to enter and exit were clearly communicated. The kitchen appliances were good. A great place for 1-2 people for a short stay.

There was no sink at the washroom as there was no space for it. Only one kitchen sink was to be used for everything. Not sure what could be a good solution, but this is one scope of improvement.

Location was alot further than expected. Nothing but a gas station nearby.

The Smart Tv reset, and we were unable to restore the apps. Hosts would not answer the entire stay.
