Beyond The Castle

Great apartment, in a fantastic location with views of the city. We had our own parking space and it was a bus ride to the city centre. Plenty of shops and restaurants around us. The apartment had all the facilities we needed, was very spacious and comfortable.

Everything was perfect. The apartment is so nice and comfortable that we decided to stay in one of the evenings just to enjoy it. Spotless clean and excellent location, in the heart of the old city and just a short walk to everything we were interested in. Parking reserved is a big plus in Salonic, you will realize this when you get there. There is also a nice bar just next to the location, where they serve great wines. Also suitable if you want to stay for longer periods and work from there. It really has everything you need and you will rest 10/10 as the bed and the pillows are perfect.

Amazing location and fantastic hosts - plus it’s very large private and lux/high end. This is a full apartment with a balcony on the bedroom and huge front room /kitchen living room that has great windows. Brand new. Everything is amazing. Actual private parking at your door - rare for Thesoliniki

Very nice apartment near the old city walls (just above Ano Poli). Everything worked smoothly (which happens quite rarely), from heating to appliances, and - even better - it was a really pleasant, well-designed place to relax after a long day. I especially enjoyed the balcony with a direct view to the Byzantine walls and the city. We could park just outside, which was a big plus. There are nice restaurant and a decently-sized Matsoutis supermarket in the area. Nights were very quiet - there's really no trafiic to speak of (dead-end small road), and the immediate area was not busy. Overall, a great experience.

This was not a problem for us, but the area is uphill from the city center. But this is also a perk, as it's very easy to reach the city walls (obviously) and the beautiful sunset panorama over the city, the sea and mount Olympus (it IS truly beautiful). And it's also very easy to reach the quiet, athmospheric Vladaton monastery.
