    Nice place to go to relax. You have to make a reservation beforehand to use the sauna downstairs which is highly recommended

    경주 여행 중 급하게 예약한 숙소였는데, 꽤 인상 깊었던 경험이었어요. 기존 수련원 건물을 개조해 만든 호텔로, 주변은 조용하고 건물들이 비어 있어서 굉장히 한적한 분위기입니다. 자연 풍경이 아름답다기보다는 ‘고요한 공간’에서의 휴식을 원하시는 분께 잘 맞을 것 같아요. 무엇보다 아이디어가 참 좋다고 느꼈어요. 체크인할 때 간단한 선택으로 그날의 아로마 오일과 차를 제공받고, 생활복과 호텔 전용 슬리퍼도 함께 제공돼서 머무는 동안 내내 편하게 지낼 수 있었어요. 저희는 가장 큰 객실을 예약했는데, 4인 가족이 사용하기에 넉넉했고, 욕조도 정말 커서 아이들이 좋아했어요. 별채탕 이용도 조용하고 쾌적했어요. 조식과 석식이 포함된 패키지로 1박에 약 $600 정도였는데, 솔직히 이 가격이라면 기대치가 높아질 수밖에 없죠. 호텔 시설은 예쁘게 리뉴얼된 부티크 호텔 수준이고, 직원들도 친절했지만, 전반적인 마감이나 디테일(특히 객실 카펫과 바닥재 등)이 아쉬워서 가격 대비 만족도는 솔직히 좀 떨어졌습니다. 식사는 정해진 시간에 제공되는데 깔끔하고 맛있었고, 아침에 나온 전복죽도 만족스러웠어요. 다만 수영장은 비가 많이 와서 이용하지 못했어요. 전체적으로 조용한 곳에서 힐링하며 하루 쉬어가기엔 좋은 곳이에요. 다만, $600대 숙소로는 다소 과한 느낌도 있어서, 할인 이벤트가 있을 때나 비수기에 이용하신다면 훨씬 만족스러울 것 같습니다.

    IJE is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, there aren't many people and hence, the shops/cafes/restaurants here are quite limited. We had trouble finding a dinner place after 7pm since we opted out of dinner at IJE. Getting to the train station was difficult since the buses didn't seem to run in early morning (and also in the evening), so we travelled around by cab often. The facilities are pretty good, which was why we booked this place. Both the family onsen as well as the private onsen were amazing. The room was spacious, big and clean, so that was very satisfactory. Our only gripe was that the wooden bedframe sticks out and has sharp corners. Both my husband and I knocked our feet against the bedframe and we both injured our feet. I would reccommend this place if you're looking to hike up to Seokguram Grotto. It's a nice 1-hour hike from Bulguksa temple, which is walkable from IJE. If you're looking to spend more time in the main city, IJE is about a 40-min bus ride away (buses subject to availablity).
