Casa Amoreira

What did you like? Casa Amoreira is a spacious, fully equipped townhouse with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and everything needed for self-catering. The house was spotless, and Bruno was very friendly, responsive, and even offered additional items if we needed anything. The layout worked very well for us, with a large main bedroom, a bathroom at the other end of the house next to the open-plan kitchen and living area, and a second bedroom with two single beds accessed by a wooden staircase (which we didn’t use). As a nice welcome touch, we found a complimentary bottle of local wine and a carafe of water waiting for us. The location is excellent, with both Bordeira Beach and the village of Carrapateira just a short distance away.

It would be nice if basic cooking essentials like olive oil, vinegar, and salt were provided. The frying pans were a little worn, and it wasn’t clear whether the water in the carafe was tap or filtered.

Great property. Good location, short walk into down town. Has a washing machine and detergent! Full kitchen.

Only suggestion, as an American I find the European washing machines confusing. Perhaps a note sheet in English with simple step by step instructions and pictures for doing a normal load of laundry.

Lovely home with a small backyard. The space is beautifully decorated and truly feels like home. It’s filled with natural light and has a calm, peaceful atmosphere. Everything you need is there: a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, a hot shower, and an amazing bedroom. The cute backyard is a perfect bonus to relax and enjoy your stay.

Nothing. Rather about the location: you need to walk ca 15 min if you need some supplies and if you arrive after a hike it’s not easy ;)
