First condo hadn’t been cleaned. Service was good moving us to another but all the way across town. When we arrived also not cleaned and they moved us back across town. Ended in a very comparable place that was very nice. Staff did what they had to but was a lot of frustration

The apartment has a great location, 10mins to city center, groceries and all the meeting points for activities. The apartment is warm. We were a group of 5, there’s enough beds and space for us.

The photos of the apartment are not close to reality. I booked this hotel because the previous reviews look good and the pictures gave a very new and clean impression. But we were quite disappointed when we arrived. The kitchen is a bit messy, equipments are old and it has a very strong oily smell from previous cookings. The furnitures are a bit worn out. There is an exposed nail on the side of the dining table, one of our friends got scratched. Maybe the price for Tromso is normal but from our standard we felt it was not worth it. The management team are not very responsible in my point of view. One of our friends who arrived first at this accommodation slipped at the front door due to the amount of ice and had her jaw injured badly. She had to go to hospital immediately to get it stitched. Although it’s arguable that the whole Tromso is kind of slippery, I think putting some sands/small stones or at least a warning sign before the arrival of each new group would be helpful. Especially considering the amount of dedication they’ve put in the accomodation rules, why not paying same level of attention to the safety of your guests? What I am unhappy is the accomodation ‘s attitude dealing with this accident. My friend discovered after the trip that part of her medical expenses were not covered by insurance and decided to ask for compensation. The team promised they will reply to her but there was 0 response after 3 months. Even a « NO » is an answer, just not cool to hang it there. When I gave feedback to the team, they asked me not to write bad reviews. They’ve explained to me the price is normal during peak season and said they could have improved the equipments if we complained immediately during the stay. Well, maybe we were more expecting the accommodations to proactively and constantly keeping a higher standard and make itself price worthy.
