The apartment was clean and quiet, and Mr. Julius Pietsch, who was responsible for the property, was extremely polite, kind, and understanding. My sincere thanks to him for his excellent and respectful manner.
I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to the German people for the kindness, courtesy, and politeness I experienced during my stay.
Die Wohnung war sauber und ruhig, und Herr Julius Pietsch, der für die Unterkunft verantwortlich war, war äußerst höflich, freundlich und verständnisvoll. Vielen Dank an ihn für seine hervorragende und respektvolle Art.
Mein herzlicher Dank gilt auch den Menschen in Deutschland für die Freundlichkeit, Höflichkeit und den respektvollen Umgang, den ich während meines Aufenthalts erleben durfte.

Great location, fast and friendly communication from host. I had a few questions before check-in and host was very friendly and assuring.
What impressed me was how high quality tableware and utensils they provided for the kitchen.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and if I visit Essen again will definitely stay again.

Appartement op de bovenste verdieping. Rustige ligging.
Bij aankomst bleken er 3 slaapplaatsen beschikbaar ipv de verwachte 4. Door direct € 35,- over te maken bleek een verdieping hoger een ander appartement beschikbaar maar zonder balkon. Van 'Stadtblick' was nauwelijks sprake: je kijkt immers tegen de overzijde van de straat aan. Extra hoofdkussen was fijn geweest. De mail achteraf dat alleen een beoordeling van een 9 of 10 op prijs werd gesteld, en anders 'laat maar', was gênant. De uiteindelijk betaalde € 300,- niet waard.
