Iconic Southbank CityRd Apartment Next to Crown Casino

Have stayed in and around this area in the past and its a great. Bottle shop and Woolworths across the road, great burger shop on entry to building (Burgertory), South Melbourne markets only a 5 min walk with plenty to see and do. There are some many places to eat if you walk down to Claredon St and head east. And then there is the Casino which is only a 5 min walk. I would highly recommend this place to stay for its proximity to heaps of locations in the area.

There is no washing machine or dryer but we were only there for 2 nights. If staying for longer than a week this may not suit you ( not sure where the laundry mat is/was but I'm sure there would be one around somewhere) It does have a balcony but its only big enough for 2 people standing. (It was fine for us as we could smoke out on the balcony).

Great location, can walk to a lot of spots, just have to do the math if you have a car and keeping it at the crown.

Being a busy place, we had to pay for parking just to get the keys and probably could have used the loading bay next to the apartments. We didn’t get enough towels for everyone and we had to buy dishcloths and paper towel because there wasn’t any.

One lift didn’t work and the windows and balcony were really dirty
