Munich Large Apartment 155 qm with 4 Bedrooms top located 1 to 12 guests

I liked how roomy this apartment is. Plenty of room to spread out. It could have used more soft seating for comfort. We were 6 adults. The manager got back to me promptly when I had a problem. It was very hot in the city when we were there, so it could have used more fans to move the cool air to the bedroom that did not have AC.

1. No instruction manuals for any of the appliances. 2. Elevator doesn't always work. 3. Balcony wasn't usable as the doors were blocked by curtain rods and no seating on it. 4. Pillows were not comfortable. 5. Curtains were not fitting properly in bedrooms so it was too bright in the morning. 6. For the amount of beds in this unit, it could use an extra 2 piece bathroom.

Neatness and complimentary chocolates for kids

Bathroom lock was too tight and couple of times kids struck inside, definitely needs to be changed. One bathroom for such a big property is not enough.

It was clearly office spaces that were made into a sleeping place.

It was not built professionally. Cannot open windows in some rooms as the curtain railing is built too low! Toilet could collapse if blocks were not holding it up?

Central location, safe and quiet area, within walking distance from central station (1km). Several restaurants around (German, Greek, Turkish), largish supermarket (well known cheap German chain) 500m away, metro stop Teresienweise 300m away, lines U4 and U5. Easy. Lift, a blessing!! The business that manages the place sent us the entrance codes before arrival. No problem. Large apartment for two, but we enjoy plenty of space and separate bedrooms. We only used the lower part of the duplex.

Facts: 3 out of the 4 floors of the building are devoted to short term holiday rentals. All the apartments bear the name of a European capital city, we had Helsinki, a duplex on the 4th and 5th floors (not our choice), stairs between the lower and upper floors. Total 14 beds in 3 separate bedrooms. Lower floor : very large dining room+sitting room, table for 11 (11 chairs), couch for 2, only one armchair. You can only watch TV sitting at the table. Industrial and commercial art on the wall. Plastic potted plants. 2 bedrooms, one small one (2 beds), one bigger one (4 beds) badly insulated, draughty, at least 6 windows, no shutters, no curtains, broken blinds. The kitchen, located in the entrance hall, is divided into 2 parts, separated by the entrance door and the stairs, not the easiest arrangement even if you don't do much cooking. 3 small pans ans a small frying pan. Only one very small bathroom+toilet. Towel rack for 2 towels. Upper floor, large dormitory, 8 beds, nothing else, no bathroom, no toilet. Nearly all the blinds in the whole apartment are broken, which means you have no view from most windows, particularly in the sitting room. No curtains in the bedrooms, plenty of light in the morning as soon as the sun rises particularly in the bigger lower floor bedroom. Skylight. Nice for early risers. Flooded with light. Most partition walls and doors are glass papered over. Intimacy can be a problem. The whole place is office space converted into a large dormitory (14 beds) with inadequate kitchen and bathroom. The help of an interior decorator or architect would definitely have been welcome. No welcoming message but several messages to remind us to clean the place before checking out at 10:00 am.
