Casa Lorenzo is a small B&B with two independent flats in the heart of the pretty town of Ceglie Messapica. We travelled here as a family on our bikes to eat at the famous Ristorante Cibus. The accommodation in the relatively newly opened Casa Lorenzo came in very handy. The small house with the two lovingly restored flats reflects the typical old southern Italian architecture with walls made of thick stone. Both flats were very clean and have all the amenities a tourist needs for one or two nights. A coffee machine is provided as well as pastries, just like the Italian breakfast. The shower and bathroom were excellent. As we were travelling with our bikes, it was easy to store our three bikes in the lower flat. Bicycle tourists should make sure when booking Casa Lorenzo that they get the lower flat, as the upper flat can only be reached from the outside via higher stone steps. So it was perfect for us and we booked both flats. The host and the communication with him was very friendly! Thank you very much and we will definitely be back next year.
