Lovely to discover so many walking routes along lovely footpaths through woods and fields that we could access right from the front door, without having to drive anywhere!
Heating system didn’t seem to be very effective, especially in the downstairs bedroom — you can feel the heat coming off the wall heaters, but as soon as you move a few feet away it feels cold again. Luckily the weather warmed up by our second or third day there. Everything else was perfect though!
