Modern 2BR Luxury -10 Min Walk to Old Town

Everything was perfect but the location was absolutely fantastic, just cross the road and you are at the Registan ensemble. Most other sites were very much within walking distance. And I never met a more helpful, courteous and warm host on booking.com so far.

Nothing.

Very convenient location, walking distance to the old town area, mall, restaurants. The host kindly let us leave our suitcases in the apartment while it was cleaned, and then to keep our luggage in the office on the departure day. The apartment was clean, had modern furniture and appliances.

Bar stools are too big, and take too much space. The living room sofa is also too big and it's difficult to sit on it.

The apartment we ended up staying was not the one I had booked. Apparently there was double booking and we were given a different more “luxurious “ apartment. The apartment was definitely very spacious and comfortable for 3. Location was pretty good with supermarket, bank s and restaurants close by. One thing we did enjoy was the coffee maker. There was a huge roof top terrace but with the construction site right in front,the terrace was very dusty and noisy. It was not pleasant to use. The owner was also very responsive to our requests. We did enjoy staying a little bit outside the old city and got to experience how locals live.

We were told that we were the first guests to stay there. That maybe that’s why many things are missing such as a clothes drying rack. While the kitchen had many items, important ones (to us anyway) such as a small frying pan and pot are missing. There was only one dish towel-nothing else we could use to wipe counter tops and dining table. There were only 2 dining chairs in the kitchen although the apartment can accommodate 4 easily. The sofas and chairs in the living were also not the most comfortable. The master bedroom had no closets, racks or hooks where we could hang our clothes. The only drawers available were shallow ones and not exactly great for clothes. There were closets in the second bedroom and in the living room. All in all we had a good stay. Some of my feedback can be attributed to personal preferences or cultural differences. But the apartment has the potential to become a great one.

An excellent apartment with all the amenities needed for a very comfortable stay; like being in your own home and exactly as it looks in pictures. Only a 10 minute walk to the old town but conveniently located to a large discount supermarket around the corner for all your grocery needs. Some thoughtful touches included and the host was super accommodating and lovely, she went over and above to facilitate our check-in and check-out requests. I would definitely stay again if we visited Bukhara and I highly recommend this apartment as your first choice to future travellers who prefer non-hotel accommodation like us.
