Unbelievable, but all other reviews were true. This was an unexpectedly nice surprise, starting from the idilic location and house, to the wonderful hosts who welcomed us on their property. It was easy to get to, as Jan sent us easy to follow instructions, and we also had parking on the property. We were looking to get away for a while, in a private corner of nature, and this turned out to be the perfect place. The house is on a huge property, full of trees, flowers and wildlife. Wake up early and you can be greeted by a deer on the front lawn, like we did. This is not a small cabin. The house is beautiful and quite big, with everything you could need and the bed is very comfortable with warm fluffy covers. The owners are true lovers of nature and things well made, and you'll witness that everywhere. This isn't one of those places where a light doesn't work or a faucet leaks. Here everything is clean, neat and in perfect working order. They live on the other side of the property but they are very private people, and you hardly see them. However, if you wish to, they'll be happy to show you around their property and tell you the story. For us, meeting Jan, Mette and Matei was an absolute pleasure and we hope to return soon to our friends from Melicești.

For us, there was truly nothing to dislike. But if you find anything missing, I strongly advise you to let Jan or Matei know, and they'll surely provide it. And they welcome any suggestions. There's a great insect net on the entrance now, after another review suggested it. By the way, there's a variety of insects on the property, but since there's no livestock nearby you won't be bothered by flies or unpleasant smells. That's pretty rare on the country side. :)

Very nice, warm and comfortabel house. Very good bed. Lovely place in a pleasant area. Some nice restaurants close by in Campina.

Wunderschönes Haus inmitten der Natur, ruhig und gemütlich; mit etwas Glück kriegt man morgens/abends Besuch von Rehen. Sanftes Vogelgezwitscher wenn man draussen bei einem Tasse Tee/Kaffee die Ruhe geniesst. Sehr nette Leute. Wunderschöne Ausflüge nicht unweit. Ich kann es nur jedem Empfehlen A+++👍🏻😁😁
