Captain's Cottage - 1BR, Garden, 2-Min Walk to High St

Perfect location close walking distance to ferry, bus, shops, restaurants and bars. Beautifully appointed house so tastefully decorated and furnished equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and spacious stunning kitchen. Excellent local pubs and restaurants for meals out in the heart of Cowes. Perfect starting point for getting to know the island by bus or car.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Excellent location. Very close to the buzz of Cowes High Street, with its quirky, independent shops, interesting and varied restaurants and coastal walks. The house manages to be very central whilst providing a quiet haven. The home is spacious and tastefully presented, with lots of little luxuries. The kitchen was exceptional with basics like dishwashing tabs, washing up liquid etc. provided. There is no parking on site, however we used the Cross Street car park and paid for a Tourist Parking pass. The car park is just a few steps away from the house. The permit allows for parking in many other car parks around the Island.

Beautifully updated/finished inside and a great little garden in the sun. Location is ideal, only a few minutes walk to Cowes centre, but a nice peaceful street.

Wonderful location, well apportioned space beautifully decorated. Everything we might need was supplied. Beautiful bathroom! Thank you for the bottle of wine!

Our only suggestion is a hand rail for the stairs from the backyard garden. Going up the steps was not a problem but coming down could be a problem for some people.
