Contemporary Penthouse in Battersea Power Station

We loved the location and it was very spacious and clean

Some maintenance issues required attention and the hot water ran out too quickly

I was anxious prior to arrival that this would seem too good to be true and the booking would be cancelled, especially having heard previous stories regarding London properties however I did not need to have worried. It was exactly like the pictures and everything was spotless. The beds were really comfy and everything seemed quite high spec. We had requested a travel cot on booking which had been confirmed but unfortunately this didn't appear to have been passed onto the new hosts ( I wasn't aware of the change of host until this issue). I contacted them by message and it was quickly resolved within a few hours which was appreciated. The area felt safe and once we got our bearings it was easy to get to places.

We found it a little hard to find at first, as the building is tucked away and having to go a short distance for the keys made the arrival a little awkward. It would have been handy to have a welcome pack sort of thing explaining working the hot water and kettle etc which would have reduced the cold showers that were had until we found the boost button. We booked due to it being advertised as family friendly, and although it had been confirmed to me prior to arrival that no highchair would be available, it really would have helped at meal times and assisted towards the family friendly accolade.

It was very clean and nice size

The sliding door wasn’t working but it was broken by a previous guest and not fixed yet. Cincerved about flies/bugs getting in!

Location and they were nice enough to let drop off the luggage early before checking time

Just a few things , the master bath room lights didn’t work it keep flashing, it needs black out curtains, the sun comes out a 4am , the wifi is spotty, hot water runs out , there’s no electrical outlets in the bathroom, it looks to me that they don’t want to spend time money in the upkeep of the property.
