Inside of house was cute but living room furniture needed an update. Smaller bedroom the bed was not very comfortable. Would have been nice to have had a tv in the bedroom. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed except a toaster and i went and bought one for us to use. Deck was nice. We were there 5 nights and only had 1 washcloth in the 1 bathroom. More wouldve helped. Plenty of hot water. Outside could use a little sprucing up. Maybe some weed control and a few homey touches. Looks a little neglected. There really isnt a good way to the water. Thats pretty much impossible and a little afraid to go down there too much as looks a little snakey. It is a pretty nice setting, wish you could see the lake better. Prob better in winter. Scenery was pretty much advertised as it really was, just not good lake access. Only real concern was the door lock where we put our code in. It needed another lock of some sort added to the door. Anyone with the code could've come on in day or night. I travel alot and i didnt feel secure with that door. Wasnt even sure if the door locked. Its a really dark area as its in the woods and a dead end also, which if fine and we are used to dark as we live in the country but didnt feel secure. Please install another supplement lock. All in all really no complaints. Oh one more thing might consider some blinds to the dining room windows. Love the windows and brightness but at night any one can just see right in. No privacy there.
