About this apartment rental
Large beautiful holiday apartment of 105 m2. There are two rooms. A room with db. bed and a room with 2 single beds. In addition, a db. sofa bed in living room. There is a pool table in the house and a large ball field outside which can be used for play.
The house is located in Solbjerg and close to the Doll School, which is an exciting place with an exhibition of e.g. 12,000 dolls, model cars, toys and a large B&O collection.
Nykøbing is the island's capital, where approx. half of the island's population lives. Here you will find Dueholm Kloster, the local history museum, which tells the history of the Morsing residents and which also has changing special exhibitions. The Danish Foundry Museum exhibits the old Morsø stoves and stoves. The lovely pedestrian street connects the city with the harbour, where there is life all summer. Every evening at 21 in the season you can experience the sun playing down at the marina. It is also in Nykøbing that Morsø Golfklub has their beautiful 18-hole golf course.
At the Fossil and Molermuseet, 55 million years of history are told through the many discoveries made in the moler at Mors. At the agricultural museum Skarregaard, time has been put on hold in the 1950s. The place is scenic down to the 2 Skarre lakes and there is a wonderful nature playground. Visit Ejerslev Havn and take a hike around the lagoon, where the jetty cliffs rise high and where you are allowed to seek your luck as a fossil hunter. Hanklit, with its 61 m., is probably the most famous jetty cliff. Don't cheat yourself for a trip to the top and enjoy the view from the top. Salgjerhøj is the highest point with its 89 m. When you stand on the top you can count up to 40 burial mounds and in clear weather 22 of the island's 34 churches.
South of Nykøbing lies the scenic area Legind Bjerge, where nature changes almost with every step. It is also in this area that you will find Jesperhus Holiday Park with experiences for the whole family.
Øen Mors contains enough experiences for many days.
With the location of the house, you are also close to Thy and Thy National Park.
