About this house rental

Large farmhouse "Hermann". 150 m from the centre of Gortipohl, 11 km from the centre of Schruns, 20 km from the centre of Bludenz, in a sunny position on a slope. For shared use: property 1'000 m2. In the house: storage room for skis. Parking on the premises. Shop 1 km, supermarket 2 km, bus stop "Gortipohl Zentrum" 130 m. Mountain railway 2.9 km, chair lift 1 km, ski bus stop 100 m, sled run 1 km, cross country ski track 200 m.
"Haus Hermann", 9-room house 240 m2 on 2 levels. Cosy and wooden furniture furnishings: large living/dining room with tiled stove. Small living room with satellite TV. 1 room with 2 beds. Kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine). Shower/WC, sep. WC. Upper floor: 2 double bedrooms, each room with hand-basin. 1 double bedroom. 1 room with 1 sofabed, 1 double bed and hand-basin. 1 double bedroom with hand-basin. Exit to the balcony. Shower, sep. WC.

We had a satistfying experience in the cosy traditional house. It has with a big warm stove in the center of the ground floor. Around it there's the kitchen (we managed to cook for 17persons every evening, so it's fine equipped) and two dining rooms that gave us a nice alpine pub feeling. We had darts with us that fit perfectly on the wall so we really enjoyed living there for a week :)The dorms are decent and the bathrooms were more than suficient for our gang. One small disconfort are the water's temperature fluctuations, but the hot/cold showers were like a spa treatment after a day of powder. Had some problems with the electrical system, it's maybe a bit too old for our consumers' needs (specially the electrical heaters), butthe host resolved those asap. The electricity bill for 6 nights was around 270 euros. Counting the local taxes and fees we managed to get back almost 300E from our warranty.We really liked the hosts, they are friendly and pleasant people and we hope to be visiting them again next year. Overall, if you want an authentic Montafoner cabin for your accomodation, with no luxury claims and realistic expectations for the price, go for it!

Das Haus war nicht besonders ansprechend, es hat 70er Jahre Charme und bei unserer Ankunft war es total ausgekühlt da es leider keine Zentralheizung gibt, sondern nur Elektroheizkörper in den Zimmern.

Wir waren im Winter zum wiederholten Mal mit Familie und Freunden in diesem Bauernhaus. Das Haus ist urig, der alte Kachelofen im Wohnraum toll. Duschen und Toiletten sind unterirdisch. Das Haus wird abgesehen vom Kachelofen elektrisch beheizt, was rechtteuer wird, zumal auch noch andere Nebenkosten fällig werden. Reisetipps: Das Skigebiet ist vielfältig und auch für Freerider geeignet. Unser Snowboarder vom letzten Jahr war allerdings nicht begeistert (viele Ziehwege ....).
