Suneta Hostel Chiangmai

All the staff were very friendly and helpful the rooms them selfs were clean also the air con was great to have in the room! 😁

Great stay overall. The hostel is in a very convenient location, close to major attractions, restaurants,which made getting around very easy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile and provide useful local tips. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a well-located hostel with great staff.

Really enjoyed the layout and set up of the bunks. Showers were clean & worked well. Felt like a well looked after hostel. Breakfast was decent too!

Staff were friendly enough… Just outside the city walls so can be a bit of a walk depending on where you’re trying to see. Good location to see different parts of Chiang Mai though!

1.Perfect location, very close to Tha Phae Gate. I stayed there on new year eve, and took part in countdown event in Tha Phae place. It was very convenient to come from and back to the hostel. 2. Friendly staff. They were so cheerful and energetic. They made me happy. 3. Bathroom was spacious. 4. Common space was nicely decorated and spacious.

1. I wish the bed had curtain. Since there was no curtain, I had to worry that I was bothering the person who was sleeping across from me by the bright light of my smartphone and laptop. So I had to cover myself and laptop together with the blanket, in order not to let the light go out. In addition, I didn't like to sleep with no light. I was lucky that I had a small lump which I bought as a souvenior, and I made use of it. Otherwise, I would have had to sleep in a completely darkness. To make matters worse, it was mixed-dorm. But even though it was in a female-only dorm, the problem of light remains, so I strongly recoomend the hostel attach the curtain to each bed. 2. The shower was not hot enough. It was about 30 degree celcius, I guess. It was not comfortable. 3. The staircase didn't have barrier so it was scary to walk up the stairs.
