A wonderful stay in a prime location

The host was absolutely wonderful. She was so welcoming and attentive from the start, alongisde the other members of staff. The villa was spotless, and the location was easy to find thanks to the clear directions shared before we arrived. There was a really helpful manual explaining all the amenities, which made everything feel seamless. The pool was beautifully maintained, we loved the layout of the rooms, and having our room cleaned daily was such a lovely touch.

Being robbed

Our experience at this villa was unfortunately marked by a ROBBERY that occurred inside the property. Several personal belongings were taken, including an Apple Watch, AirPods, and jewelry with a total value of around 800€. The situation was reported immediately. The worker and villas security did review the camera footage, but nothing conclusive was visible. We also contacted the police straight away, but their involvement and follow-up were minimal, and no meaningful investigation took place. And it was our last night in villa during our 7days stay there. While we acknowledge that the host cannot control the actions of others, the overall support provided after the incident was very limited. This left us feeling insecure for the remainder of our stay. This experience significantly affected our overall impression of the property. Future guests should carefully consider security measures and how issues are handled when choosing this accommodation. We’ve been traveling Asia for 3 months, staying in many different places and nothing like this has ever happened. The belongings weren’t in a safe-yes, but the villa is private and we never thought something like this could happen in place like this. And no - we did not ask for a cleaning or anything else.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – Highly recommend! I stayed at Bobo’s Villa in Canggu over Christmas and had an amazing experience. The accommodation is beautiful, with a lovely pool that gets plenty of sun throughout the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which really made the stay even better. The location is excellent — just around the corner from Copenhagen Café and only a short walk up the street to Samm’s Farm, which I would highly recommend for food. It was also very easy to get Grabs from the accommodation, which made getting around simple and convenient. The bathroom was spacious and beautifully designed with an outdoor, nature-inspired vibe. The shower was great, with good water pressure, and there was a Smart TV in the room as well. The WiFi worked perfectly and we had no issues with it throughout our stay. A great touch was the separate area between the bedroom and bathroom to store suitcases and hang clothes, which made the space feel very practical and organised. The room also had a large water dispenser and fridge, with a glass bottle provided so you could fill it at night and have cold water ready in the morning — a small detail, but very appreciated in Bali. Overall, an amazing stay and I would absolutely recommend Bobo’s Villa to anyone visiting Canggu.

A great private villa experience

The location is great near to everything in Canggu. The villa was clean and tidy and the owners are very determined and detail oriented. Everything was just perfect like the pictures and the pool was clean, the shower was great. The villa is very well equipped for a holiday stay.

The Tv lacks subscriptions to any of the entertainment channels we couldn’t watch Netflix or anything just YouTube.

Good value for money

Quiet location in Canggu, but still near many restaurants and 20min walk to the beach. I'd say it's the perfect location. Possible to rent scooters on site and feels very private. The private pool also is very clean, which wasn't always the case with other accommodations around Bali.

Location a bit hard to find for Grab drivers, you have to walk to the main road.

Everything was perfect. The villa was a perfect size, extremely clean and smelt fantastic, the pool was large and was always the best temperature. Staff were friendly and always happy to help. Great location in Canggu, would definitely stay again.

Good but not quite there

Staff are very accommodating, good general location and overall is good but not quite great. Almost there! Staff would go out of their way to help with any requests!

Few niggles. Lots of mosquitos Way too many light switches around the room and some were hidden away, took some time finding them. Charging sockets next to bed were fixed to a flimsy wooden post that isn't secured to the floor properly. Fuse box would trip randomly when all the lights were on. Shower drain was also a bit blocked, even after reporting to staff it was the same. Seems like a reccuring issue. Also to note the villa is in cangu so constant bike noises throughout the night

We loved the private pool, everything was clean, good AC, and there was enough equipment to make food for us two, plus there was water ready for us. The staff was friendly and served well. We got everything we asked for. A good bonus was the little kittens by the house, whom we got to see everyday - because we love cats. The location is near to shops and the beach is five minutes away with a motorbike taxi.The neighbourhood is pretty quiet and at night all you hear is geckos and crickets outside the house - which we found soothing to go to sleep. The room was decorated very nicely with nice furniture and warm "earthy" elements. Having the mosquito net around the bed was super good and necessary to have. We definitely will come back and recommend this accommodation to anyone who likes it clean private and comfortable.

There could have been a couple extra plates and bowls in the kitchen.

Best villa ever!

Just.. wow! Very organised (you get a file before arriving with all the information you need about the villa and how to reach there). I arrived at midnight and someone was waiting for me. The villa is stunning, free of bugs other than small geckos outside (very important for me as a female solo traveler), everything was available and clean. Bed was super comfortable. Best location ever and still very quiet. It is less than 5 min walk to Copenhagen cafe, and in the same street you have plenty of option for food, drinks, breakfast spots and convenience stores. On my next trip to Bali I won’t bother looking for somewhere else to stay. I was extremely sad to leave :’)

(Maybe something can be done together with the other villas on the same street) More illumination in the alley that gives access to the villa. Nothing to worry about - it was very safe but lightening could have improved the experience (as a female solo traveler I was a bit afraid initially).

Für Urlauber, die schnell bei Cafés und Restaurants sein wollen, eine sehr gute Lage.

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals, die Hilfsbereitschaft sofort Abhilfe zu schaffen, waren sehr gut. Sehr schöner Pool. In Bezug auf Moskitobekämpfung war an alles gedacht. Die Beleuchtungsmöglichkeiten waren sehr schön.

Die Villenanlage ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Küchenausstattung war minimalistisch (zwei Gabeln, zwei Gläser, zwei Teller..usw) Ich las zuvor, dass die Anlage in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse liegt, was stimmt, doch die Rückseite der Gebäude( die in Bali ja zum Teil offen sind) war in seiner sehr belebten Strasse, in der selbst nachts viel Strassenlärm von Motorrollern zu hören war.

Ich hab nichts schlechtes über die Unterkunft zu sagen, alles war einfach ein Traum! Es ist wunderschön eingerichtet und das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich!

Leider war der Straßenlärm nachts ziemlich störend. In Kombination mit Jet lag war es fast unmöglich zu schlafen🥲 gegen 1/2 Uhr wurde es ruhiger.

整體來說體驗是很不錯的房間跟照片一樣，這裡的工作人員態度也都非常親切，有任何問題也都能及時獲得解決。

這次住的房間號碼是12號，他緊鄰著後面的馬路，加上房間所有的窗戶都是木框，所以假日的夜晚會一直聽到摩托車的吵雜聲，這個聲音會持續到凌晨，但如果是其他房間沒有這麼靠後面的馬路應該不會有這個問題，摩托車的吵雜聲只有在週末比較嚴重，其他時間在還能接受的範圍裡。

시설도 시설인데 직원분들이 너무 친절합니다! 갑자기 건강에 이상이 생겨 응급실을 가야하는 상황에서 같이 병원도 찾아주시고 병원 가기전에 챙겨주시고 갓다와서도 편의를 봐주시고 챙겨주셔서 너무 감동받았습니다. 스쿠터도 숙소에서 빌릴수있었고 청소도 매우 깔끔했습니다! 단독풀빌라라 방해 없이 잘 쉬다 갑니다 다음에도 또 머물고 싶은 숙소입니다

Heerlijke Villa, van alle gemakken voorzien!

Een super fijne villa midden in Canggu, zonder dat je last hebt van de drukte. Een heerlijke plek om je even terug te trekken van de hectische straten. De villa is modern en sfeervol ingericht. Zowel het zwembad als de villa zelf worden goed schoongehouden. Ook het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Ik zou zeker terugkomen voor deze villa!

Er waren veel muggen, dat was wel vervelend. Maar de accommodatie heeft goed gefaciliteerd door een klamboe, muggenspray en een vliegenmepper. Niets op aan te merken dus!
