Lake Michigan Beach Time - Private Beach on Lake Michigan

Lovely view, steps to the beach, well appointed cottage. Enjoyed our time and look forward to staying here next year.

House was perfect for my husband and I and our 3 adult children with partners. Living room small for 8 adults but adequate but we spent most of the time outside on the beach. There is not much of a downtown in Whitehall so we went to Muskegon twice which is not that far of a drive. Very private beach. Easy walk to the pier on beach, hilly and pretty to walk the road. Plenty of hiking nearby. Wish patio deck was larger to have table and eat outside but that would be literally the only downside. I would highly recommend.

We used the cottage for overflow guests because it is across the street from our house. Everyone loved the water view and sunsets.

We stayed at this property for a long weekend. Check in process was very easy, I didn’t need anything but incase we did the property manager had their phone number on a booklet with information regarding the house which was nice! The house was clean and stocked with anything I could think of or need and WiFi connection was great. The owner had a bowl of goodies sitting on the kitchen counter which was so thoughtful. The kitchen is such a nice touch to the house with a great view of Lake Michigan. I enjoyed eating dinner at the kitchen table! There is just one thing that I could complain about so I thought I’d share it in my review. The window screens! Majority of them either don’t open properly, screens were off of them completely or the screens had large gaps from the window so anything could come through. Again, not a dealer breaker by any means but could be fixed. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again in the future!!
