The owner doesn’t give you info about the location of the apt and the keys location until the day of the check in

Great location. Everything is pretty new, so it’s not run down.

The key situation is very inconvenient. You have to go six blocks over and back to pick up the keys, which is annoying when you’re getting into town or trying to leave with all your luggage. It adds a whole extra taxi trip both directions or you’re just kind of wondering around Hollywood with all your bags trying to figure out what to do. No pool or balcony access is also a pretty big bummer especially if you’re there for more than just a day or two (the balcony door is literally bolted shut) and also not being able to do laundry even though there are machines in the room makes longer stays inconvenient. No one ever responded to me through booking dot com’s website about anything. Eventually I called the number on the listing over and over until someone answered, and it was someone’s personal cell phone. After that, all the communication was done through texting, so be prepared to give out your personal phone number to communicate. It’s listed as a kind of luxury apartment for a steal but it’s closer to a hostel situation, so just manage your expectations I guess.
