The historical ambience has been lovingly presented. I was extremely happy with the kitchen, and the bed was very comfortable. Hosts were welcoming and the little touches (craftsmanship and fresh flowers) were appreciated.
The TV had this dinosaur stumped. After a long while I finally subscribed to a streaming service for the All-Blacks Game, but I never found the live TV news. Lots of heaters around, but a heat pump would have been appreciated.

This property is such a beautiful place to stay. It was clean, incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous restored miners cottage with a lovely garden and spacious accommodation and good facilities.
Close to main road so a lot of road noise and sectioneasnt fully fenced off so dogs could get out on the road. Hosts dogs kept coming up to fence line and barking at our dogs but they were friendly.
