Aurora at Amaya

Exactly like the photos, very nice and clean apartment. Great communication with the host and key pick-up. Very good location and quiet residential area. Close to the airport and supermarkets by car. Lovely bars and restaurants walking distance. Parking right in front of the complex. Facilities good and well maintained.

The smell in the bathroom sometimes, which was getting fixed the day we left. No issues otherwise.

We have been there early this year it’s amazing clean , well equipped . They have gone that extra mile

Nothing all amazing

It was amazing apartment, very clean very homely, I go away for up to 6 weeks at a time and this Apartment had everything I needed right down to a welcome pack (food etc ) everything was clean bedding towels, tea towels just everything was clean and not shabby as I’ve been finding with other apartments around the area

Zero it’s perfect

Decent size accommodation with plenty amenities, especially in the kitchen (eg Nespresso machine, air frier etc), to make it a very homely experience. Fairly priced

There was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom. As soon as you came in the front door you would smell it immediately. There was no escaping from it. I had read a previous review which had stated the same thing and based on the hosts response, I was under the impression that it had been resolved. But it definitely hasn't. The communication with the host, especially with regards to the check in and check out, could have been better. Despite letting them know my flight arrival details well in advance, it was a bit disappointing that they weren't at the property on arrival, which meant we had to wait outside with all our luggage wonder when someone would come to let us in (I also called them when we were on our way from the airport but there was no answer). Despite knowing check out was at 10:00, I was also disappointed that there was no leeway in getting a slightly later check out - even just 15 minutes would have been appreciated. And on top of that, the cleaners actually arrived at 09:45, which was really annoying as I was trying to do some last minute frantic packing, which was pretty stressful to do with a pair of passive aggressive cleaners watching over me and pressurising me to leave as soon as possible. Finally, the property was advertised as a 3 person accommodation, however, this is misleading. I had originally arrived with just my partner but a friend of ours managed to get a last minute flight to come out to visit us during our stay. When we asked the host if she would be able to provide additional bedding for our friend, she said that it wasn't possible to accommodate a third adult due to insurance reasons and that a third person would only really be allowed in the case of it being a child. Our friend tried to find alternative accommodation but as our it was during the peak Christmas/New Year season, she was unable to find any other affordable accommodation, so she ended up cancelling her flight without getting a refund.
