Es un hotel totalmente diferente ya que es un museo. Personal muy servicial y atento a todo. Habitaciones amplias y limpias. Tiene un lugar especial para tomar café que fue uno de los más ricos que probé. Se preocuparon por conseguirme traslado a la zona céntrica y de buscar buen precio.

Nada. Todo estuvo excelente. Lo único que la habitación no tiene ventanas.

If you appreciate history, art, and genuine hospitality, this is the place for you. My partner and I stumbled across Rumah Pesik by accident, and it became one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. This is far more than a hotel—it’s a beautifully preserved piece of Indonesian history, filled with antique furniture, traditional artwork, and fascinating stories around every corner. The manager, Ershad, is an incredibly kind and generous host. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly and shared the remarkable history of the property and its artefacts. What makes Rumah Pesik so special is not only the collection itself, but the passion with which its history is brought to life. One of the highlights was the museum and the stories behind its collection, spanning Javanese heritage, Indonesia’s colonial past, and ancient civilisations. Even the Roman-style statues at the entrance have an incredible story connected the Vatican. Every part of the property feels like a living museum. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the on-site Kopi Kamu café was fantastic—a perfect place to relax and enjoy great coffee in such a unique setting. If you’re looking for a standard hotel, this may not be for you. But if you want to immerse yourself in history, culture, and authentic Indonesian hospitality, I cannot recommend Rumah Pesik highly enough. Thank you to Ershad and the wonderful staff for an unforgettable stay. We leave with amazing memories and a much deeper appreciation for Indonesia’s rich history and culture.
