I think the word Luxury is stretching it a bit although it’s very clean and comptable with lovely managers Norma & A

Position to Beach

There are five units and the both end units have good water views which maybe warrants the cost. The other three are pleasant but lack the views but do have a luxury price. I booked with booking.com and paid for the extra cost which the photos of the private northern unit and great views. Unfortunately my wife and I were allocated in the middle unit for a five night stay, no view, and neighbours very close by, not the luxury we were expecting for the price for a romantic stay. We named that unit “ Sunblock bay Villa !

Awesome, relaxing, great views, amazing hosts!

An exceptional beachfront stay. The property was immaculate, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The views were breathtaking — the kind that make you immediately wish you’d booked longer. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was pure luxury. Despite its position on the main road, the property was remarkably quiet and peaceful. Norma and Alistair were outstanding hosts — warm, attentive, and genuinely generous with their time and help. A truly special place that we wouldn’t hesitate to return to.

We had a comfy and lux time.

Where do I start. So much thought went into the villa we stayed in. It literally had everything you could need. We were very comfortable. The views are stunning. The water pressure and temp are amazing. The beds and the couches are comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with things you might need.

There was nothing we did not like. We would definitely come back.

Great view, but apartment was very small

The caretakers were very lovely, the view/location was stunning.

The furniture was uncomfortable and oversized, there were no extra pillows and for the price we paid, I expected to have my own laundry facility. I did laundry in the shared facility twice, and both times, my laundry was taken out and someone else had placed theirs in the dryer instead. My 14 year old could not fit into the single bed as well.

We will book again

Beautifully renovated, overlooking the beach. Comfortable bed although duvet possibly a little too thick, good shower. Hosts were very nice and welcoming, they had the rugby test ready to go for us on the good Quality big screen TV. Good coffee spot just up the road.

Nothing. Wouldn’t really recommend the Mangonui fish and chip restaurant. Extremely expensive for what it was.

Best ocean views and soothing waves

Beautifully redecorated, amazing sea views and the sound of the waves at night are so soothing! The kitchen is well stocked and there is sky tv as well. The beds are so comfortable and the linen is fresh and luxurious. Norma and Ian were very helpful and easy to communicate with.

The villa is emaculate, stylish and comfortable. There is a playground within walking distance, and a literal 1 min walk to the beach - which the kids loved. We could hear the waves and had an amazing view of the ocean. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The location is a perfect spot between the shops in Coopers Beach and Mangonui.

Idyllic stay at Coopers Beach

What a fabulous place. We had Villa 1 and the views were spectacular! One way the beach, the other was through a huge beautiful pohutakawa. The beds were super comfy, roomy lounge, huge TV, very well appointed kitchen and truly AMAZING shower with great water pressure. Hosts were so kind and full of fun! Everything is new, so very tidy! Easy access to beach with a hose to wash your feet upon return! Highly recommended, even in winter it would be great and cozy!! We had the most stunning sunset on arrival!

Well worth it

A gorgeous, newly renovated apartment style unit—spotlessly clean, with stunning ocean views. The check-in process was seamless, and the host was incredibly welcoming. It was the perfect stop on our road trip to Maitai Bay and the Kerikeri Peninsula (highly recommend making the short 30-minute drive north from here!). That said, Coopers Beach, right in front of the hotel, is absolutely breathtaking as well.
