This home is located in the heart of the Stone Village in Chester and was built in 1844 by the Clark brothers. This is one of the "Three Sisters" homes that was built with beautiful local quarry glimmerstone in the Greek Revival stylings known to the area. This home has been tastefully renovated to maintain its original character while being updated for modern conveniences. Inside you will find ornate trim work, original wide plank flooring, breathtaking windows, and plenty of charm!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully well preserved 1844 home! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by it's cozy atmosphere and vintage decor. The home is warm, comfortable and full of charm.The location is ideal -nestled in a quaint town with easy access to Okemo, Bromley and Magic Mountain for a perfect ski getaway.It was a treat to relax in the peaceful ambiance after a great day of skiing. We can't wait to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at this fabulous old house. Each room is spacious, and all the mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen is easy to use and well-stocked. We especially loved our family meals around the beautiful wooden dining table!

We needed a spacious place for family to connect from Vermont, Chicago and Maine. This place was perfect. We cooked family meals and enjoyed catching up around the dining room table. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay in this comfortable and generous space again. Thank you.
