The popular Hofgarten apartment is located near the center of the university town of Freiburg and offers plenty of space for up to 4 people in its 66 square meters. It’s the ideal self-catering accommodation, whether you’re visiting Freiburg and the Breisgau region for leisure or business.
The Hofgarten city apartment in detail:
Tastefully and comfortably furnished, our apartment stands out for its idyllic, central location with a ground-level, landscaped courtyard and excellent access to public transportation, as well as to the city’s bike path network and the A5 Rhine Valley Highway.
You’ll appreciate the short distances to the city center, the main train station, the university, the convention center, the SC stadium, the university hospital, etc. All of these can be reached by bike or public transit in 15–20 minutes.
Everything you need for daily life is right around the corner: grocery stores, clothing and shoe stores, bakeries, butcher shops, pharmacies, gas stations, etc., are all within a 500-meter radius.
There is also a regional weekly/farmers’ market with vegetable, fruit, and egg stands, as well as bakery and butcher’s carts. The market is held every Wednesday and Saturday morning at the Weingarten shopping center, just 500 meters away and easily accessible on foot. There is an organic supermarket in the neighboring district of Rieselfeld, only 1.5 km away.
The Stadtfewo Hofgarten is high-end, was newly renovated in 2024, and features 2 bedrooms, a kitchen-living room, a hallway, a bathroom with natural light, and a free parking spot (also for larger vehicles) in front of the building.
The bedroom and the living-bedroom each feature two comfortable box-spring beds that can be arranged separately or together, along with a desk, TV, and LAN connection in each room.
