We stayed over for a week in May with our two kids. The owners are not speaking english, but are very helpful and friendly. The found our way with Google Translate. The car could be parked in the yard, which is enclosed by a fence with a locked gate, guarded by two dogs. So your car and equipment / luggage are very safe here. There is also a fire place inside to warm the living room if teh heating is not enough. We had a lot of value for the money we spent!

Al Rustico was our home away from home! Signora Rita was the most caring and friendliest host ever! Her smile always made our day. Mum and I highly recommend a stay at Al Rustico. For us it was a central location allowing us to visit the paesi (towns) around Balzone. This residence is clean with everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. Many thanks Al Rustico......

We enjoyed a lovely week at this beautiful house. The house has a nice garden, which you share with the friendly owner, Rita. The house itself is cosy, clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace, as the evenings we're a bit chilly (oct). This part of Italy is a bit of a hidden gem. We will certainly return!

Een simpele woning waar je met een gezin van 4p goed kunt verblijven. De woning is rustiek en wat donker en de inrichting is zodanig dat lekker loungen niet echt kan (de grote keukentafel is het centrale punt). Des al niet te min is het een prettige verblijfsruimte. Het feit dat een airco aanwezig is, is zeker in de zomerhitte echt heel prettig. De buitenruimte is beperkt en gedeeld met eigenaar De gastvrouw spreekt enkel Italiaans maar is bijzonder gastvrij en vriendelijk. Geen probleem dus.

Einrichting top und sauber.Kleine Einschränkungen:Kein Backofen, keine Fliegengitter (dafür aber eine Klimaanlage), der Nachbarshund war bis 23–24 Uhr fast durchgehend am Bellen, immer, wenn jemand vorbei lief (kann die Hausdame aber nix für...).Sehr gut: Die Hausdame war stets hilfsbereit und versorgte uns sogar mit Erzeugnissen aus ihrem Garten. Reisetipps: Die Region um Udine hat uns sehr gefallen.Vom typischen italienischen Flair (enge Gassen, Märkte, historische Gebäude etc.) bis hin zur Möglichkeit zu Ausflügen in die Alpen, nach Slowenien, natürlich zur Adria und in ca. 90 Minuten nach Venedig.

Sehr geräumig und sauber. Freundliche, hilfsbereite Vermieterin im Haus. W–Lan (kostenlos) perfekt. Überdachter Parkplatz im abgesperrten Innenhof. TV leider nur italienisch. Häufiges Hundegebell in der Nachbarschaft, oft bis 24 Uhr. Dann aber ruhig. Großer, sehr gut sortierter Supermarkt (EuroSpar) in ca. 500m Entfernung. Reisetipps: Unbedingt ansehen:Triest und das benachbarte Schloss Miramare. Beides vom Bahnhof in San Giovanni mit Zug gut zu erreichen. Ein Muß: Aquileia! Sehr lohnend: Schloss Duino mit dem panoramareichen Rilke–Weg. Udine mit Piazza Libertà und Fresken von Tiepolo im Diözesanmuseum. Ganz in der Nähe: die neuneckige Stadt Palmanova mit der zentralen Piazza Grande. Geheimtipp: Sonnenuhren in Aiello del Friuli.
