The most beautiful room I’ve ever stayed in with contemporary high end finishings. The breakfast was delicious and the cafe staff so pleasant.

I loved this villa so much that I didn’t want to leave.

Beautiful design: super cool shop and cafe on the ground floor ( Uk metrics!) , restaurant on floor one ; accommodation on floor two: one huge room with lovely little outside patio. Fabulous bath/shower room. The staff were superb! They could not have been more helpful and lovely… exceptional service. The lady with the brown cap who found my lost bag was amazing!

Very hard to be critical! I Couldn’t find any English/ US news channels on the TV! Needs a clearer guide how to use it. The traditional Japanese breakfast was amazing and epic but more variety would be good especially for a longer stay.

Wir verbrachten vier wunderschöne Tage in Kyoto. Nach einem anstrengenden Tag in Kyoto freuten wir uns jedes Mal, in die Villa zurückzukehren. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Der private Onsen-Bereich in der Villa war traumhaft, und wir genossen ihn jeden Abend. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, und auch der zur Verfügung gestellte Pyjama war unglaublich angenehm zu tragen. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein ganz besonderes Lob gilt Frau Asuka – wir werden sie nie vergessen. Wenn wir das nächste Mal nach Kyoto reisen, dann nur noch ins 住 京都小川生案.
